The professional degree should support a full integrative scope of practice and full participation in reimbursement systems for patient centered care.

a profession in common understanding should carry a unified standard of knowledge, skills, responsibilities and accountabilities in the practice of its profession. These traits are built through a solid and unified standard and requirements for the training of the profession that obviously reflects with the academic degree. Multiple programs and degrees should then by common understanding reflect multiple scope of practice. If we aim to advance the profession and maintain the standard of its entry-level-of-practice, then there is a ‘great’ need to have one ‘single’ degree that reflects the training preparation for its entry level of practice with its scope.

One point of entry into one professional license and one scope of practice begins with one graduate degree title.
